Release History
What shipped when — every LiDARic release and its major additions.
Multi-Architecture Images
- The container image now ships for both x86-64 (Intel/AMD) and ARM64 Linux as a single Docker Hub tag — docker pull automatically selects the right build for your hardware.
Version Visibility
- The running app shows its version in the Info menu.
Public Availability on Docker Hub
- The image is published for free, anonymous pulls from the official Docker Hub repository; pulling constitutes acceptance of the LiDARic license.
First Public Release
- Import LAS, LAZ and PLY point clouds — converted internally to COPC and streamed to the browser with level-of-detail management.
- ASPRS classification with a rule-based baseline and trainable machine-learning models, plus manual reclassification applied instantly as an edit log.
- Model training pipeline with ground detection and height-above-ground computation, model management and publishing.
- Object and terrain extraction — buildings and trees, for example — with terrain contours and a 2D background map projected onto the surface.
- Export of edited point clouds, 2D layers and extracted 3D objects.
